Kathleen Darby is a leader and consultant with an exceptional background in organizational development, program creation and implementation, event management, and service delivery. An impassioned presenter and educator, Kathleen has taught courses, given workshops and mentored cultural professionals in governance, management, marketing, proposal/grant writing, and sponsorship. Over the span of her career, she has worked with numerous community boards and committees in both the cultural and education sectors. She was the first Executive Director of the Costume Museum of Canada, the Winnipeg International Writers Festival and Creative Manitoba where she built the organizations from the ground up. Her most recent post is with the Creative City Network of Canada, a national network of municipal culture leaders dedicated to increasing the level of public engagement and awareness of the cultural sector in Canada.
