The Creative City Network of Canada (CCNC) is a network of municipalities, arts organizations and individuals working to support cultural development in their communities. CCNC facilitates knowledge-sharing and professional development in the field of local cultural policy, planning, and research.

Resiliency has become a part of all of our lives and work in 2020. Culture workers across Canada are coming to understand the importance of being resilient in a completely new way under the impact of a global pandemic and calls for social change. In 2020, the Network has adopted the theme of building culturally resilient cities through partnerships, communities, and diversity to guide their work. This theme will continue and inform the 2021 Creative City Summit in Calgary, AB.

In this miniseries podcast, cultural leaders from different backgrounds will speak to the how and why of a city’s resiliency through their culture work.
