Ep. 4 - Kali Weber & Samuel Watterworth

 
 

Samuel Watterworth is a creative producer and visual artist based in Leith, Scotland. His practice focuses on code, generative systems, simulation, and interactivity, developed through a process of abstract discovery and meticulous refinement. Samuel’s work has been showcased at Manipulate festival in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen, In Noema Magazine, at Lightbox in New York, at O Sitio Gallery in Brazil, and in music videos for artists such as James Yuill.

Kali Weber is an arts administrator and arts educator residing on Treaty Six territory in North Battleford, SK. Kali’s passion for theatre began in grade 8 when she started taking drama at school. This led her to achieve a Bachelor of Arts Education with a major in drama education and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from the University of Regina. Kali taught junior and senior drama in North Battleford until 2015 when she moved to Edmonton to take the Arts and Cultural Management program at MacEwan University. While completing her diploma, Kali was able to work with fantastic cultural organizations in Edmonton and area such as the Citadel Theatre, the City of St. Albert International Children’s Festival for the Arts, the Arden Theatre and Skirtsafire Festival. In 2018 she accepted the position of General Manager at the Dekker Centre for the Performing Arts in North Battleford and moved back to Saskatchewan. She is responsible for the overall management of the organization, but her portfolio consists of financial management, fund development, communications, programming, and outreach. Her goal is to eventually marry her passion for teaching and arts administration and start at theatre company for young people with a focus on devised, collectively created work.
